General provisions for certification from 1.2.2020

The certification body (PCEB), as an independent body, treats all customers uniformly (non-discriminatory) and offers all customers uniform services to the extent publicly declared and stated in the accreditation certificate and publicly offered services.

All conditions of certification, including the standard price list of services, are given in advance, and the applicant for certification will obtain them before the start of certification (summarized in the draft contract). The price of certification is calculated according to a standardized procedure, which is based only on the scope of work performed. General information, or other information about certification, will be obtained by the applicant on request in electronic form, by asking the contact persons of the certification body, or in the form of an information meeting. The certification applicant's products are evaluated in the range of criteria that are stated in the accreditation certificate and / or the draft contract.

In the text, please describe what is the subject of the complaint, comment or suggestion for improvement and which activities of the certification body are concerned (if you know this).

Application for certification
If you are interested in the certification of your product, please contact the company's office to clarify the subject of certification and obtain further information. The applicant must prove that he is competent to enter into a contractual relationship for the subject of certification. In case of any ambiguities or questions, please contact us.

The applicant for certification submits the application for certification in a pre-agreed manner, usually electronically to the company's office.

The application for certification consists of the information necessary to meet the requirements arising from the accreditation of the certification body and the required scope of certification. The information is used to prepare a draft contract.

The certification process is determined by the certification system of the certification body, which is listed in the annex to the accreditation certificate. This system is available to the applicant for certification as part of the contractual relationship.

In general, in the first step, the documentation on the subject of certification is verified, and then in the second step, the conformity of the statement in the documentation with the real state is verified.

The time required for certification is based on each project individually according to the subject and scope of certification. The time frame for certification is set by the certification body within the contract. The calculation of time intensity is determined only on the basis of the required scope of certification and its type.

The output of the certification project is always a protocol with the results of the performed tests and if it is determined for the service and the result of the certification is positive, then also the certificate.
In the event that the certification body is obliged to publish or pass on to a third party a copy of the outputs of the certification, the applicant consents to such publication / transfer by concluding a contractual relationship.

The price for certification is determined on the basis of the time required for certification, where the total price is determined as the product of man-days given by the time required for certification and the price for one man-day of the auditor's work. The same rule applies to the pricing of all other CO activities, ie extension of the certificate, change of the certificate due to a change in the properties or conditions of the certified product, change of the scope of the certificate of conformity and costs associated with withdrawal or change of the certificate of conformity.
The price and travel allowances are always agreed in advance within the draft contract.

The applicant must demonstrate that it is competent to ensure that the service complies with the certification requirements.
